Candidate Forum LWV

This year’s League of Women Voters Candidate Forum will be streamed live through the League’s Facebook page. An email will be sent when this link is available, and you do not have to be a member of Facebook in order to participate. The forum will be held in Moscow City Council Chambers. There will be no live audience participation as numbers are limited by social distancing requirements established by the City of Moscow. Participants in contested races scheduled to appear include: District 5 Senate candidates Dan Foreman (R) and David Nelson (D); Dist. 5 House Seat A, Dulce Kersting-Lark (D) and Brandon Mitchell (R): and House Seat B, Caroline Nilsson Troy (R), Renee Love (D) and James Hartley (Constitution Party). The forum will conclude with the candidates for Latah County Commissioner District 2, Tom Lamar (D) and Gabriel Rench (R). Questions for the candidates may be submitted in advance at moscow.league.questions2@gmail.com. There will be no questions taken during the event. League members are encouraged to send in questions. Please indicate to which candidate or contest the question is directed.

The Moscow Chamber of Commerce is hosting a virtual District 5 Candidate Forum on October 1st from 5:30pm-7:00pm. The candidates – David Nelson, Dan Foreman, Caroline Nilsson Troy, Renee Love, Brandon Mitchell, and Dulce Kersting-Lark – will be together with the moderator Paul Kimmell at the SEL Event Center while Amplify LLC broadcasts the Forum to Facebook Live. Questions may be submitted by the audience via Facebook Live or other available social media or may be emailed to info@moscowchamber.com in advance.
