Important Voter Information


ELECTION DAY—TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2024

 

VOTER REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

  • You may register or re-register to vote online at voteidaho.gov or at the Latah County Elections Office.

  • Election Day registration at the polls is also available with photo ID and proof of residential address.

  • You must re-register if you have moved or changed your name.


IMPORTANT DATES:

October 11Preregistration Deadline for the general (November 5) election. Deadline is postmarked by this date for mailed paper applications, 5 p.m. for paper applications handed in to the county clerk’s office, or until midnight for online applications. HOWEVER, you can still register when voting early or at the polls on Election Day—November 5.

October 21—Early Voting begins at the Latah County Courthouse, 522 South Adams, Room 7B. YOU MAY REGISTER TO VOTE AND THEN VOTE WHEN YOU GO—just like being at the polls on election day. Bring proper ID and proof of address to register!

October 25Last day to request an absentee ballot. Go to VoteIdaho.gov to request the form online. Voted ballots must be received by Election Day in order to be counted. You can return your absentee ballot request form through mail, in person at your local elections office (Latah County Courthouse—522 S Adams St, Moscow), or online. You can sign up to track your absentee ballot on the Secretary of State website. Absentee ballots begin being counted on Election Day.

November 1—In-Person Absentee/Early Voting Ends at 5:00 PM for the General Election.

November 5—ELECTION DAY 

  • Polls are open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

  • If already registered, bring photo ID to the polls.

  • If not already registered, you may register at the polls as long as you bring proper ID and proof of address.
